Super Bowl
XIII was played on January 21, 1979 in Miami, Florida. The Pittsburgh
Steelers beat the Dallas Cowboys35 to 31. The game was broadcast on NBC
with Curt Gowdy, Merlin Olsen and John Brodie.
Super Bowl MVP honors went to
Steelers Quarterback Terry Bradshaw, who completed 17 out of 30 passes for
318 yards and a whopping 4 Touchdowns. His only interception of the game
wasn't enough to deny him the MVP.
